Anthony grew up in a small Pennsylvania town 25 miles north of Pittsburgh called Butler. At age 14, he discovered his love for musical theater playing Young Patrick in Mame. After countless local theater productions, he attend Point Park University in Pittsburgh. In Spring of 2006, he obtained a B.A. degree in Musical Theatre.
Upon his graduation, Anthony moved to New York City, and soon after landed a role in the 2007 40th Anniversary Concert of 'Hair' at The Public Theatre. This has led to his upcoming Broadway debut in the revival of the acclaimed musical.
Anthony has co-founded MGC Productions with his partner Martin Gould Cummings, which is an LGBT based company promoting human equality. He directed their first production of "
MidTwenties: The Show", which ran Off-off Broadway March 1-3 at Manhattan Theatre Source.
